CO Solutions — Unified Contracting Platform
Integrated workspace for IT requirements drafting, RFP analysis, and source selection evaluation
Overview
CO Solutions is a unified contracting platform that integrates three specialized applications — IT Requirements & SOW Builder, RFP Simplifier, and Source Selection Workspace — into a single Module Federation shell with shared authentication and cross-app data flow. It serves federal program offices, 1102 contracting officers, SSEB evaluators, and legal counsel across the full acquisition lifecycle: drafting performance-based IT requirements, simplifying complex FAR/DFARS clauses into role-tailored summaries, and conducting CUI-compliant source selection evaluations with protest-ready documentation.
Why CO Solutions
Executive View
CO Solutions eliminates the fragmented tool landscape in federal contracting by unifying requirements generation, clause analysis, and source selection into one platform. Organizations reduce acquisition cycle time by enabling direct data flow — IT requirements drafted in the SOW Builder feed into RFP analysis, which maps to evaluation criteria in source selection. The CUI-compliant Source Selection Workspace is the only commercial product purpose-built for FAR 15.3 best-value evaluations with AI-assisted drafting and full audit trail.
Technical Architecture
The platform uses a Module Federation architecture with React 19 + Vite, backed by FastAPI microservices per sub-product, routed through a Caddy API gateway. Authentication is unified via Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) with shared JWT sessions. PostgreSQL 16 with pgvector provides semantic search, Redis 7.2 handles sessions, caching, and Streams-based cross-app eventing.
User Experience
Contracting specialists draft performance-based IT requirements through a guided wizard that flags 54 common pitfalls before they become procurement issues. Legal and compliance staff paste complex FAR clauses and instantly get role-tailored plain-language summaries with risk flags and cross-references. SSEB evaluators score proposals against structured rating schemas with AI-drafted narratives, producing protest-ready SSEB reports and debrief packages with zero manual document assembly.
